FAQs

FAQs: FAQ

What animals do you care for?

We care for most pets...dogs, cats, bunnies, ferrets, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish etc.  We've even been known to care for some small farm friends too!

Are you insured & bonded?

Yes! We are fully insured and bonded, certified by the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (first aid training included) & have all state clearances.

How do I get started?

We will come to your house for a complimentary "Meet & Greet" so we can get to know you and your pets. If you hire us to care for your fur kids, we will collect a deposit to confirm your reservation and fill out the paperwork. Any future reservations can be confirmed over the phone, it's that easy.

What is included in the fees?

Visits include all care & exercise related to your pet, including administering medication (topical, oral, and injections) as well as any home care such as turning off/on lights, blinds or curtains opened/closed, putting out garbage cans, bringing in mail, etc.

What is "extra"?

The only "extras" we charge for are: Holiday Visits (a small surcharge is applied to these busier days), emergency vet trips, extra visits due to a delay in your return, trip charge if we have to pick up or return keys, and a per hour shopping charge with receipt reimbursement if we have to pick up any necessary supplies that have been depleted during our visits.

How are keys handled?

Keys are kept in a locked key box in our office and coded for your protection. It is recommended to keep a key on file with us so we can be ready for any future visits or spontaneous trips that may come up.

How is payment handled?

A deposit paid by cash, check, Venmo or PayPal at the initial Meet & Greet is required to confirm your reservation and the balance is due on the first day of service.  Existing customers can make deposits/payments via Venmo or Paypal for future trips with confirmation by text or email.

Trip longer than expected?

No problem!  Just give us a call to let us know.  We will continue visits until we receive personal confirmation from you that you are home.  Likewise, if you return earlier than expected, let us know so we don't make unnecessary trips!

How do we know you won't forget our visits?

We will call 1-2 days prior to our 1st visit to ensure everything is still on track. You will also receive daily updates including pictures and videos to let you know what your fur kids have been up to.
